A recommendation for folks who enjoy history and historic architecture, I recommend La Posada in Winslow, up north, about 1 hour east on I-40 from Flagstaff. Designed by Mary Jane Colter and opened in 1929, it's been restored to its original opulence and offers an amazing chef and dining. Visit the website at http://www.laposada.org/menu.htm.
