Tea Time in the Desert

If you have an hour free in the afternoon, take time for tea.

One problem with heat is that appetite becomes depressed. Fortunately, the state with London Bridge (map) also offers many opportunities to partake of a light afternoon tea (and in some places, afternoon tea's hearty cousin - high tea.)

Arizona Biltmore - elegant & lavish. $31
Serves tea through May. Call 602.381.7632 for reservations.

Comments:
For a spot of tea that is very close to the convention and relatively inexpensive, I recommend the Teeter House, I went there with a group and was served a plate of tea sandwiches and then a second tiered plate of sweets, all for about 12.00.
